God Can’t…

God can’t die.

If Jesus was really God then his “apparent death” meant nothing…

It cost him nothing…

So his death (which was no more real than a magic trick because he actually is not mortal) was no real sacrifice…

So the New Testament is not worth the ink or paper it is printed with…

If you want to know how important it is then pour a glass of water and stick your finger in the water…

The NT is no more important than the hole that is left in the water when you pull your finger out…

  1. Andrew says:

Has God not said, “David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel, and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man in my presence to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to make sacrifices forever.”

Who sits on David’s throne, and what high priest stands in the presence of God? Or does God not keep his promises?

This is why it is written, “Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son.”

    • James Wood says:

YHVH is not a liar. Just because no one sits on the throne of David doesn’t mean that there are no decendents that are eligible. Have you read this?

Hosea 3:4,5 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
